In partnership with Bloomberg, we are pleased to invite you to join us for our inaugural Bloomberg APAC Women in Finance Initiative. This initiative is designed to educate, provide exposure, and offer invaluable experience within the finance industry to female university students.
Our aim is to inspire and empower future generations of women; demystifying the world of finance, with a specific focus on emerging fields such as ESG and Fintech, and providing access to senior women leaders who have achieved remarkable success in their careers.

Participating Locations

We are ecstatic to be among 5 locations to participate in this inaugural Bloomberg APAC Women in Finance Initiative. The 5 locations are: Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

Top students from each location who have completed the program will also have an opportunity to participate in a two-days experiential program in Singapore in 2024.

Mandatory (In-person):

• Tuesday, 5th September, Afternoon – Launch & Orientation

• Wednesday, 13th September, Afternoon – Financial Markets & Terminal Training

• Wednesday, 4th October, Afternoon – Research Portfolio Prep and Presentation

• Between Monday to Friday, 11th September to 17th November – Corporate Partner Visit

• Tuesday, 10th October, Afternoon - National Stock Exchange Visit

• Wednesday, 6th December, Afternoon - Ambassador Sharing and Closing Ceremony

​Optional (Virtual):

• Wednesday, 18th October, 10:00 AM to 01:30 PM IST – Personal Brand & Communication Workshop

Format

Most activities will be held in-person at the Bloomberg Mumbai office (except for the corporate partner or stock exchange visit).

Eligibility

We are looking for female students who are:
• Currently pursuing a university/college undergraduate degree in any major
• ​A background in business or finance is not a prerequisite for participation

• ​Basic English reading, writing and speaking skills required

• ​Medium of instruction will be English
